All around us there are people who have moved to the margins of society because of addiction, poverty, injustice and crime. In the 25th chapter of the Gospel of St. Matthew, Jesus assures us that we will meet and serve him in these very people. In welcoming the stranger, visiting the prisoner, feeding the hungry and clothing the naked we are doing these things to Him. Brother Zachary Wilberding, OSB, is active in voluntary prison ministry and is well acquainted with a number of other ministries in southern Indiana and Kentucky which reach out to the marginalized. In this presentation he will help participants come to a better understanding of who the marginalized are in the area and how we can all help.
