Monte Cassino Pilgrimages in May

Archabbey’s pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine
have been scheduled for the Sundays in May 2008.

The pilgrimages begin with an opening hymn and a short
sermon, followed by a rosary procession. The service ends
with the Litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn. Speakers and topics for the
pilgrimages are:
- May 4—Fr. Germain Swisshelm, OSB -“Mary’s Remembrance of Things Past”
- May 11—Br.
Zachary Wilberding, OSB - "Mary’s Maternal Journey of
Faith”
- May 18—Fr. Jeremy King,
OSB - “Mary’s Heart
Song”
- May 25—Br.
Francis Wagner, OSB - “Mary, Our Lady of
Silence”
Services begin at 2 p.m. Central Daylight Time. The
public is invited. The Monte Cassino Shrine is located one mile east of the
Archabbey on State Highway 62.
