Biography
Dcn. Mike Catalano, MA’21, is a deacon for the Diocese of Nashville, TN, and serves as a full-time pastoral associate at St. Henry Catholic Church in Nashville. His previous work includes 24 years of various positions in the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office and 10 years as the clerk of the Tennessee Supreme Court until he retired in 2014.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Memphis State University and then graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1978. In 2023, he received a master’s degree in theology from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. Dcn. Mike and his wife Janet have two college-age daughters. They live in Nashville, and are parishioners at St. Henry Catholic Church.
