Saint Meinrad Class: O 1963

He was born in 1935, and attended Roman Catholic Seminary as a young man. In the early 1970s, he left the Catholic Church and became an Episcopalian, and married Kathi. He has two children: Kristin McClanahan Raza and Matthew McClanahan, and three granddaughters, Fatiya, Juliet and Ana. He was the long time rector of St. Paul’s in Flint, Michigan, and most recently, at Church of the Redeemer in Shelbyville. He lived in many parts of the world, including Ireland and Malaysia. He loved to read and travel and to visit with people. The funeral service be at Church of the Redeemer Shelbyville on August 14 at 6:00PM. Bishop Bauerschmidt will celebrate and the Rev. Roger Seneschal will preach. Friends and former parishioners of Fr. Kieran’s are invited to attend. All clergy of the diocese is invited to vest for the service.
