Reverend David L. McCafferty died Monday,13 January 2025, after having received the prayerful support and consolation of the Sacraments.
David L. McCafferty was born on 21 February 1938. His parents were the late Edward and Marie (Volk). He was educated at St. Sebastian Elementary, Akron, Borromeo High School, Wickliffe, Borromeo College, Wickliffe, St. Mary Seminary, Cleveland. On 23 May 1964 in the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist, Bishop Floyd L Begin ordained him to the priesthood for the service of the Diocese of Cleveland.
Preceded in death by brother James (Marilyn). He is survived by nephew Tim (Rose) McCafferty and niece Laura (Jeff) Kendro.
