Anthony S. “Tony” Reine, 81, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Majestic Care of Newburgh.
Tony was born December 26, 1941 in Evansville to the late Edwin and Cecelia (Folz) Reine. He worked at Whirlpool Corporation for over 48 years before retiring and was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the Corpus Christi Men’s Club. Tony enjoyed bass fishing, riding his bike and scuba diving and was an avid tennis player. Tony was also an active volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 399.
Surviving Tony are a daughter, Tina Marie Reine; three sisters, Mary Jane (Robert) Lawrence, Judy (Daniel) Miller and Patricia (Patrick) Singleton; brothers, Edwin Reine, Steve (Diana) Reine and Charles (Pam) Reine; sister-in-law, Gloria Reine, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mary (Greulich) Reine in 2008; by a son, Michael Anthony Reine in 1979; by his brother, Donald Reine and sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Clark.
