Historian, Traveler, Artist, Beekeeper and Family Man passed from a life well-lived in his home on May 14th. A committed Catholic, he received all 7 sacraments. As a scholar on Church and Byzantine History, he taught at Marian College, Cal State Fullerton, USAF Academy and the Episcopal Theological Seminary. He wrote 11 books and many articles and cared deeply about ecumenism. As an engaged volunteer he served the community through the Fullerton Arboretum, Placentia Founders Society, and H.I.S. House. Charlie loved traveling, sunbathing, his family and Manhattans.
