A memorial Mass for Charles Phillip Lettelleir, 74, of Rochester, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with the Rev. Harry Jewison officiating. His body was cremated and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.Mr. Lettelleir died Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 3, 2005) in Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Bloomington, Ind. He graduated from Bloomington High School and attended Indiana University. He married Carolyn Ruth Jones on June 1, 1950. A Korean war veteran, he returned to Bloomington to work for RCA. In 1957, the family moved to Rochester to work for IBM. He retired from IBM in 1987.He was an avid golfer, regularly playing at Soldiers Field Golf Course. He played semi-pro baseball, coached Rochester youth football and participated in bowling and softball leagues.Surviving are four sons, Michael (Nancy) of Crystal, Minn., and Mark, Marty and Jim (Linda), all of Rochester; two daughters, Mary (Mike) Bjork and Margaret (Tom) Hain, both of Rochester; and 13 grandchildren.
