Charles R. Witcher , 81, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at home in Fort Wayne. Born in Jasper, IN, Charles worked as a salesman with Western Union. He was a devout Catholic, a member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a US Air Force veteran. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Doris Witcher of Fort Wayne, IN; children, Chad (Ann) Witcher of Dearborn Heights, MI, Curt (Becky) Witcher of Fort Wayne, IN, Ann (Jim) Schadler of Lansing, MI, Derrick (Kathryn) Witcher of Fishers, IN and Jane (Steve) Henschen of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Valentine and Eleonora Witcher, sisters, Mary Catherine Mercker and Cyrilla Mae Newman. Mass of Christian Resurrection is Saturday, 10:30 am, February 15, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Fr. James Kumbakkeel officiating.
