Christopher (Chris) J. Weber passed away on Thursday, February 25th. He was born on October 12, 1944, to Joseph Weber and Ursula Conlon Weber in Rochester, NY.Chris lived a full and happy life, with family always at its center. His wife Marylin was the love and joy of his life and the object of his endless devotion. They shared fifty-two years together after a fortuitous meeting on the first day of their student orientation at Marian College. Their life together produced three proud sons, two doting grandchildren, and countless cherished friendships. Last year Chris and Marylin took the trip of a lifetime and spent seven months living like locals in Rosslare, Ireland. Chris was known to have a friendly word (always sincere) for any person he met, an answer (often right) to any question, and a story or joke (usually funny) for any situation.Chris, a man of unwavering faith, was a parishioner at St. MonicaÆs Catholic Church for more than forty years. His faith permeated his life and fostered an unparalleled generosity of spirit with a rock steady character that all could depend on.Chris spent twenty-five years as an attorney with Indianapolis Power and Light and retired in 2001. During that time he fulfilled a dream to teach by instructing paralegal students in the IUPUI paralegal program. He enjoyed a second career with Baker and Daniels. In his ôretirementö he found fulfillment helping the less fortunate navigate the legal system at Indianapolis Legal Aid. In addition to these achievements, he will be remembered for the kindness he showed to all.Chris is survived by his wife Marylin, sons Patrick (Kendall), Jon (Angie), and Nick (Maureen), grandchildren Jacob and Madeleine, brothers Greg (Sue), Doug (Robyn), Mike (Susan) and sister Jo Ann Baker (Bill). He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Ursula, and sister Kay.
