Clifford J. Oelker, 81, beloved husband of Rita M. (nee Burhoff), devoted father of Mitch (Kris) Oelker, Michele (Alan) Leininger and Maria (David) Hernadi, dear brother of Johanna Jarvis, Maurice and the late Hubert Oelker, loving grandfather of Ben, Kyle, Karoline, Laurin, Kristin, Aaron, Joshua, Jordan and Mica.Clifford attended Saint Meinrad Seminary in St. Meinrad, Indiana for high school and college, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. After college, he attended briefly the School of Theology at Saint Meinrad.Clifford served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956 where he earned a National Defense Service Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal and a Good Conduct Service Medal.
