Clinton J. Miller, III was born October 29, 1947 in Elyria, Ohio to Rosemary Bertling and Clinton Joseph Miller II, the first of eight children, died March 28, 2018 at his home in Lakewood. Educated at St. Meinrad Seminary in Indiana, he graduated from University of Michigan in 1969. Afterwards, he served the U.S. Navy as an officer for two years and then graduated from The Ohio State Law School. He married Bettie Sue Stevinson in 1971 and together raised daughters Emily (Lewis) Dichairo, Hilary (Aaron) Lee, and Sarah (Mark) Gonzales. Bettie Sue predeceased him in 2002. Clint was General Counsel to United Transportation Union for 35 years. He loved his family, the law, the Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes, the 1940s era, and Dean Martin. He had an encyclopedic memory of the Federal Railway Labor Act, The Civil War, baseball and football lore, and movies. He is survived by his daughters, wife Cynthia, stepdaughter Stephanie Popik, and grandchildren Annabelle, Greyson, Reese, Ryan and Camden.
