Gordon Joseph (Joe) Daugherty, 84, husband of the late Linda Egbert Daugherty, left this life on November 9, 2025. He was born in Lexington on September 21, 1941, the son of Gordon Taylor Daugherty and Jessie Rust Daugherty. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Dawn M. Daugherty and his sister, Joyce Daugherty. Joe was a State Farm agent for 51 years, and was devoted to his faith serving faithfully as a deacon for many years. His legacy will continue through his son, Matthew Joseph Daugherty and a dear granddaughter, Saffi Rubin de la Borbolla, and his niece Patricia Daugherty.
