Deacon Simmons was Chaplain for Hazelwood Center and former Deacon at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish.He was very proud of being totally Catholic educated having attended St. Matthias School, Bishop David High School, Spalding University and Saint Meinrad Seminary. He was preceded in death by his father, Winford Preston Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Claudette (Keeton) Simmons; daughter, Sarah Simmons; mother, Helen Simmons; brother, David Simmons (Judie); sisters, Nancy Spriggs (Earl) and Margaret Parsons (George); many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; a large extended family and many friends.
