Kenneth E. Stalboerger, 75, of New London, MN, died Sunday, March 13, 2022 at his home near New London.

Kenneth was born on July 6, 1946 in Mahnomen, the son of Earl and Alvina (Schonhardt) Stalboerger. He grew up on the family farm near Waubun and attended Waubun High School, graduating in 1964. He continued his education at NDSU where he received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Economics. On August 23, 1969, Ken was united in marriage to Yvonne Trnka. This union was blessed with two daughters, Kim and Kirsten. They made their home in Fargo and later divorced. On December 16, 1977, Ken was united in marriage to Elta Solem. They were blessed with three children, Kelsy, Kate and Kurt. They made their home in Thief River Falls where he worked as a sales rep for Land-O-Lakes. They moved to New London in 2000, where he worked for West-Con and Centra Sota, retiring in 2012 as general manager.

Ken was an active member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church where he served as a deacon after being ordained in 2012. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, building and remodeling. His life and commitment centered on his family, faith and teachings.

Ken is survived by his wife, Elta of 44 years, children, Kim (Pete) Dean, Kirsten Jackson, Kelsy (Kevin) Jenkins, Kate Stalboerger and Kurt Stalboerger (Autumn Kaye); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, siblings, Denis (Karen) Stalboerger, Steven (Mary) Stalboerger, Margaret (Kevin) Lindberg and Brenda (Tim) Zerr; brother-in-law, Kevin (Carol) Solem and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by parents and siblings, Renee and Rodney.
