AIKEN – Funeral services for Mr. Don L. Johnson, 67, of Aiken, SC, who entered into rest October 1, 2017, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Mr. Dennis Rich officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Johnson was a native of North Augusta, having made Aiken his home for the past six years. He was a 1968 graduate of North Augusta High School and had received a Masters of Divinity from Southern Seminary. Mr. Johnson was a retired Baptist minister, a retired radiology technician, and was a carrier for The Aiken Standard. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Jesse C. Lynch Memorial American Legion Post #71 and a former member of the Army National Guard. Survivors include his wife Deborah C. Johnson; a son, Brian Don Johnson, North Augusta; a grandson, Brandon Johnson; two brothers, David H. Johnson, Jr., Smyrna, GA, and Danny Johnson, Mauldin, SC; two sisters, Cheryl Kilpatrick, North Augusta, and Carolyn Jones, Rutledge, GA; former wife, Ginger Johnson, North Augusta. Pallbearers will be Dan Key, Eric Johnson, Kevin Whaley, Chuck Thompson, Robert Thompson, and Gene Medlock.
