Donald, 93, of Indianapolis, died at Methodist Hospital. He was born November 25, 1917 in Sainte Marie, IL to Cletus and Kathryn (Kaufmann) Litzelman who have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Severin (Dutch) Litzelman; sisters, Angela Mears, Geraldine Litzelman, and Alfrieda (Skeets) Albin.He is survived by his sister in law, Agnes Litzelman; nieces, Judy Kunkle, Sheila Monfreda, Pat Rickleman; nephews, Jack Mears, Jerry, Jim and Glenn Albin. Don was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and graduated from grade school there. He was also a 1935 graduate of Cathedral High School. He attended Saint Meinrad’s for 3 years before entering the US Army. He was a WWII veteran. Having worked many years for the Pennsylvania Rail Road, most everyone knew of his elaborate train set up in his basement. He enjoyed being able to show it to anyone who came to visit his home. Early in life Don belonged to several bowling and softball leagues. Don was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council #3682.
