New Albany – 69, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN. A graduate of Flaget High School and the IU School of Optometry, he was a lifelong and active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and an avid volunteer in his community. He practiced optometry with his father in a career that spanned 42 years and served on many medical eye missions to Honduras with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity) – Indiana. Ron enjoyed golf and biking, but he treasured being with his grandchildren. He was born on July 12, 1949 in Louisville, KY. Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James and Bernice Nolan, he is survived by his wife, Angela (Klein) Nolan; sons, Matthew Nolan (Rachel), Nicholas Nolan (Kelly), and Gregory Nolan (Megan); sister, Marilyn Ziegler (Al); brothers, Alan Nolan (Beth) and Brian Nolan; and five beautiful grandchildren, Natalie, Samuel, Anna, Adele, and Elizabeth
