Ed, 78, died at his home in Brownsburg. He was born in Indianapolis on Sept. 7, 1932. He was the son of the late George and Adelaide (Fahy) Pierle. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel (Patrick) of 57 years. He is survived by his 7 children, Patrick (Patricia), Pam Doctor (Phil), Mike, Eddie (Kim), Tom (Kathy), Chris (Barb), Emily Hines (Kevin); 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Jerry (Charleen), Richard (Chloe); sisters, Marge Sheets and Carol McKenna. Ed graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1950. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1953. Ed retired from the Town of Brownsburg after 38 years of service.
