Edward Francis Ramesh, 75, departed this life to be with our Heavenly Father. Born April 12,1935 in Hammond, IN, he was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward and Mary Ramesh.Ed was a man who always had a kind word and was willing to help anyone in need. He was always full of life and loved to laugh. As a loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Susie; son, David and his wife, Alyson; stepdaughters, Deborah Barnhart and husband Philip, and Susan Douglas and husband David; stepson, Billy Stearns and wife Hollie; grandchildren, Neal, Aaron, and Gwen Ramesh, Chelsea and Jerrod Scheel, Robert and Jessica Wade, Christopher Stearns, and James Remy; great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Johnson and Avery Grace Scheel; brother, Robert Ramesh and wife Beverly; sister, Charlotte Rosta and husband William.He was a graduate of Saint Meinrad College, St. Meinrad, IN, Loyola University, Chicago, IL, and St. Thomas Aquinas University in Rome, Italy. Ed received his BA in Classical Languages, a Masters in Counseling Psychology and Doctorates in Pastoral Psychology and Theology.Ed retired as the Sr. VP and Corp. Psychologist for The Associates, Irving, TX in 2000 and since then has remained very active in the community as a member and lector of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine, the Knights of Columbus and former pastor of various ministries.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the foundation of your choice in his honor.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, J. E. Foust Funeral Home, 523 S Main St, Grapevine, TX. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Saturday, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church,861 Wildwood Ln, Grapevine with Interment following at Grapevine Cemetery.
