Reverend Albert J. Mackert, age 86 passed away on May 31, in Sun City West, Arizona. Dear son of the deceased Albert W. and Pearl M. (nee Leonard); dear brother of Virginia Geiger (Al, deceased), Lawrence (deceased), Pearl Olearcik (Jim,deceased), Earl (Carole), Paul (Jackie), Mark (Mary), Sister Rita CSJ, James (Lois), and Janet Ravotti (Jack); dear uncle and great uncle.On Thursday, June 7 at Immaculate Conception Church (4129 Superior Avenue, Cleveland 44103) Vespers for the dead will take place at 3 p.m., and he will lie in state at the church from 4-8 p.m. The Most Rev. Bishop Richard Lennon will preside at a Mass of Christian burial on Friday at 11am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Immaculate Conception Church.
