Fr. Cletus Ternes, O. M. I. dies at 74 – 7/15/2008by Ramon Ma. G. Bernabe, O.M.I. Dear brothers,It is with sadness that I announce the death of Fr. Cletus Ternes, O.M.I. at 8:41 a.m. today, July 15, at the Intensive Care Unit of Cardinal Santos Hospital. Clete’s health began gradually deteriorating after his heart by-pass a couple of years ago while he was on vacation in the United States. Even with that procedure, it seemed that his heart was working only 20%, thus affecting his other organs, until his heart gave way.We expect Clete’s body to be brought to Tamontaka, probably at the OMI Spiritual Center. We will announce details of his burial soon.Please pray for his eternal repose and the consolation of his family and friends.Fr.
