The Reverend David A. O’Leary, 93. Fr O’Leary was born on July 11, 1916, in Toledo, Ohio. He received his seminary training at Saint Meinrad Seminary, and was ordained on August 19, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas. Father served in the following parishes: Blessed Sacrament, Wichita; Sacred Heart, Dodge City; St. Patrick, Kingman; St. Louis, Waterloo; St. Rose, Mount Vernon; St. Barbara, Chicopee; St. Anastasia, Cherokee; St. Martin, Caldwell; Sacred Heart, Eureka; St. Joseph, Yates Center; St. Aloysius, Greenbush; St. John, Zenda; Sacred Heart, Cunningham; St. Joseph, Arma; St. Gabriel, Mulberry; St. Mary, Moline; Sacred Heart, Caney; St. Joseph, Cedarvale; and St. Robert Sedan. He retired from active ministry on August 9, 1991 to the Priest Retirement Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diocese of Wichita, Priests Retirement and Education Fund.
