Rev. Donald J. Evrard, 79, died at Owensboro Medical Health Systems in Owensboro, KY.He was born in Louisville, KY, on December 19, 1929. His parents were the late Fred J. and Olivia (Pierrard) Evrard.Don was a high school graduate of Saint Meinrad, graduated from Saint Meinrad School of Theology and was ordained a priest there in 1956. He served various parishes in Indiana.A retired priest, Don was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed ham radio, photography, nature and flying airplanes.Surviving are a brother, David Evrard and his wife, Maggie; nieces and nephews, Jackie Rolf and her husband, Dave, Joe Evrard and his wife, Terri, Michelle Marietta and her husband, Dave; eight great-nephews and a great niece, Ben Jacob and Joe Studer, Will and Katie Rolf and Nathan, Ross, Sam and Ty Evrard.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.Information obtained from the Evansville Courier & Press online, www.courierpress.com, on 12/29/2008.
