Father Henry Brown, 82, attended seminary at Saint Meinrad from 1945 to 1951. Father Brown was a priest for 59 years serving many parishes in Indiana including Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove and St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Indianapolis. He also assisted at St. Paul Hermitage where he resided for 11 years. He is survived by a sister, Dorothy Helt; nephew, Thomas Helt; and niece, Beth Forche. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry F. and Dora Brown; and a brother, Joseph Brown.
