Rev. Fr. James Arthur Summitt, 78, of Washington, IN, died Saturday, June 21, 2014. Father Jim was born September 26, 1935, in Chicago to Clarence and Lucille (Matt) Summitt. He received a bachelor’s degree in canon law from the Catholic University of America. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated June 30 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery.
