Fr. Reisz was 87. He was born in Daviess County on April 28, 1923 the son of the late William J. and Ella (Tong) Reisz. He was ordained a priest on May 30, 1950 in Owensboro. Since then he has ministered at various parishes in Western Kentucky.Survivors include sisters: Margaret Reisz Payne, of Rockport, IN, Sr. Mary Reisz, a Sister of Charity of Nazareth, KY and Nancy Reisz Harpenau of Tell City, IN. Fr. Reisz was preceded in death by brothers: Anthony, Martin, Gregory and Delbert Reisz and sisters Martha Reisz Snyder and Joan Reisz.The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Vincent DePaul Charity in Owensboro.
