George M. Haendiges Jr., age 78, of Marengo, IN passed away on December 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.George was born on July 3, 1940 to the late George Haendiges Sr. and the late Hazel (Wilcoxson) Haendiges on July 3, 1940 in Louisville, KY.Preceding George in death is his wife of 51 years, Judith (Kelty) Haendiges and his parents.Surviving George are his four daughters Shannon (Shaun) Haendiges Bradley, Amy Johnson, Erin (Bob) Haendiges Huth, Katie Haendiges, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and siblings Ronald Haendiges and Deborah Hicks.George was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., and was retired from G. E. in Louisville, KY. He earned a Degree in Social Sciences Bachelor of Arts, and a Master of Arts at St. Meinrad School of Theology.
