Gerard “Gerry” De Lion, of Daly City, CA, died unexpectedly October 10, 2014, of a heart attack while being transported to a hospital for a procedure, in San Francisco, CA.Born August 7, 1945, in Lafayette, IN, he was the son of the late Gerard “Slim” and Lyda De Lion.He graduated from Central Catholic, 1963, and Ball State, 1967.He taught high school math in Gary and the San Francisco Bay area.Surviving are sisters, Judy (Charlie) Rausch, West Lafayette, Mary Lou (Tom, deceased) Sachse, Spokane, WA, and Christine De Lion, Battle Ground; brothers, Warren (Karen) De Lion, Monticello, Don (Marianne) De Lion, West Lafayette, Dave (Terry) De Lion, Lafayette, Ken (Deb) De Lion, Lafayette; several nieces and nephews.
