Howard J. Brames, a meat cutter for more than 50 years, died at the age of 86.Mr. Brames owned J&H Supermarket for many years on Martin Luther King Drive in Avondale, OH. He also worked for Kroger and the former Liberal supermarkets.At one time, he was a local treasurer for the meat cutters union.Howard and his wife, Alice, who died in 1980, reared six children and had 17 grandchildren.Information published in the Cincinnati Enquirer on 1/27/1996.
