Hubert G. “Bud” Stuckey 83, was born July 21, 1927 in Indianapolis to Fred and Agnes (Brewer) Stuckey. He attended high school and college at Saint Meinrad Seminary and would complete his degree in education at Marian University. Bud then earned his Masters in Education from Ball State University. He served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked as a school teacher at Sacred Heart High School and the Indiana Boys School. He was a long-time and dedicated member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was also a member of St. Pius X Council of the Knights of Columbus, and a 20 year volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital. Bud was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Carol Ann Stuckey; brother, Robert Stuckey and sister, Mary King. He is survived by his daughters, Peggy (Kevin) Neese, Diane Eastman, Laura McGrady and Cindy (Jeff) Dornick; son, Bernie (Terry Prentkowski) Stuckey; brother, Tom (Kathy) Stuckey; sisters, Margie Renie, Rita (Pete) Mariani and Norma Stuckey; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 14th in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 15th in the mortuary followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology or to St. Vincent Hospital Foundation.
