J. Gregory Gardner was born on October 28, 1947, in Lost Nation, Iowa. He graduated from St Pius grammar school, then Jesuit High School in 1965 and UTEP in 1970. His quick smile, vast intellect, and kind spirit moved all of us in so many ways. He leaves his family and friends far too soon, but touched each and every one of us in ways we will miss and always remember. Preceded in death by his mother and father, James L. and Mary Gardner and his favorite nephew, Sean Gardner, all of EI Paso. He is survived by his brother, Stephen G. “Buck” Gardner and sister-in-law Connie Gardner of EI Paso, niece Kara Sutherlin of Austin, and nephew, Rece Sutherlin of Dallas.
