Jim was 63 years young. He was born to Jerome and Helen Buckler in Batesville, Indiana on October 24, 1948.He attended St. Gabriel Catholic School and graduated from Saint Meinrad High School in 1966. He graduated from Saint Meinrad College in 1970. Jim married Ms. Karolyn Moore of Centerville, Indiana at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on June 19, 1976. Together they reared their only son, Christopher, in Connersville.Jim worked for D & M as the Director of Field Services and then with WCI until they moved the plant. For the past eighteen years, he worked as the Office Manager for the State of Indiana as their Work One Manager. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the founder of the St. Gabriel Folk Group for the thirty-five years. Jim had been sick for the last two and half years.Jim is survived by his wife Karolyn of Connersville, a son, Christopher Buckler and his wife Ami, and a grandson, Paden, of Patoka, Indiana. He is also survived by five siblings, Agnes Bacca of St. Louis, Missouri, Rita Buckler of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pauline (Tuck) Fuller of New Lebanon, Ohio, David (Cindy) Buckler and Diane (Bob) Harmeyer, both of Connersville. He is also survived by one uncle, Tom Buckler of Lakeland, Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Saturday, July 14, 2012 at St. Gabriel Church, Rev. Stanley J. Herber and Rev.
