Mr. Medernach, 79, passed away at Jennings Terrace Nursing Home. He was born April 27, 1932.James was employed by Pepper Construction for over forty years. He was a member of the Aurora Lamplighters for many, many years. He graduated from Marmion Military Academy in 1950 and served his country from 1954-1956.He is survived by three sisters, Mary (Jerry) Yager of Stewart, FL, Carolyne Cherwin of Geneva, IL and Marie Frantzen of Aurora, IL; five brothers, Dave (Donna) Medernach of Aurora, IL, Gerald (Hermine) Medernach of Dieterich, IL, Albert Medernach of Aurora, IL, Bernard (Marcia) Medernach of Dekalb, IL, Gregg (Gloria) Medernach of Aurora, IL; two sister-in-laws, Janet Medernach of Aurora, IL and Kathleen Medernach of Aurora, IL; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loretta (Hannan) and John Medernach; three brothers Frederick Medernach, John Medernach and Franklin Medernach; two brother-in-laws, Donald Cherwin and William Frantzen; a nephew, Dennis Medernach; and a niece, Stacy Frantzen.
