James Ferd “Jim” “Stoney” Stein, 76, died June 24, 2024.
He was the first of 9 children born to John E. and Eva Gohmann Stein who preceded him in death as well as his sister-in-law DeeAnne Stein.
Surviving Jim are his wife of almost 46 years, Gail (Crawford): sons Corey (Kate Davidson) and Drew (Katie Christian) three granddaughters (Sam, Alex, Millie) and one grandson (Arthur). Siblings: Nick Stein Sr., Linda Stein (Rod Haywood), Pete Stein (Martha Powers), John Stein (Lari Ann), Emma Stein, Nancy Stein, Jenifer Schultz (Mike), Kris Jakoby (Gary), and 27 nieces and nephews.
Jim donated his body to the University of Louisville.
