James Patrick “Pat” MacGregor passed away at Bethel Manor. He was born May 25, 1918. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.Pat worked at Stippler Tool & Supply Co. Inc. for 50 years and was the Vice President. He attended Saint Meinrad Seminary for eight years, from 1931 until 1939. He was also President of the Corpus Christi Men’s Club for four years. He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Stippler) MacGregor, whom he married on May 14, 1943; and would have been married 63 years on Sunday; son, Bruce Patrick MacGregor and his wife, Kathy, Evansville, Ind.; daughter, Molly Ann Clevenger and her husband, Dennis, Evansville, Ind.; grandsons, Sean Patrick MacGregor, Evansville, Ind., and Ian Patrick Clevenger, Evansville, Ind.; granddaughters, Laura Elizabeth MacGregor, Evansville, Ind., and Emily Jane Clevenger, Indianapolis, Ind.; great-granddaughter, Katie Grace Clevenger, Indianapolis, Ind.; brother,Jerry MacGregor and his wife, Charlotte, Evansville, Ind.; aunt, Anna Grace Dillon, Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Anna Jean MacGregor, Evansville, Ind., Flo Ellen MacGregor, Evansville, Ind., and Elsye Boyne, Houston, Texas; brother-in-law, Brother Hugo Stippler of St. John of God, Ojai, Calif.; sisters-in-law, Ruth Rice, Evansville, Ind., Bertha Julian, Evansville, Ind., and Margaret Ballard Ph.D, Newburgh, Ind.; brother-in-law, Arthur Stippler and his wife, Jan, Evansville, Ind.; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Patrick MacGregor, Sept. 20, 1956; his parents, William MacGregor in 1955 and Theresa MacGregor in 1982; a twin brother, Paul who was killed in combat in France, Sept. 8, 1944; his sister, Sr. Marie William O.P. in 1995; and brothers, Jack MacGregor in 2004 and Donald MacGregor in 2004. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Bethel Manor Nursing Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, where he was a member for 48 years.
