James Thomas Fadgen, age 82, of Robinson Township, formerly of North Hills, passed away on March 4, 2025.

James was the beloved husband of Elizabeth D. Fadgen, and a devoted father and grandfather. Born on January 17, 1943, to the late Louise and John Fadgen, James is survived by his stepdaughter Beth (Brian) Koishal, daughter Caitlin (Connor) McKenzie, brother Joseph “Jay” Fadgen, and his cherished grandchildren Brandon, Ethan, and Christina Koishal.
He was preceded in death by his siblings John Fadgen, Sister Jane Fadgen, Jerome “Jerry” Fadgen, and Kevin Fadgen. James is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will remember him fondly.

James spent much of his adolescent years in the seminary at Saint Meinrad, a foundation that shaped his life in profound ways. He later went on to teach religious studies, serve as a guidance counselor, and worked as the general manager of the Parkway Center Inn.

A lifelong Steelers fan, James had a passion for sports, especially when cheering on his favorite team. He also enjoyed gardening, beekeeping, and reading, finding peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. But it was his infectious laugh and warm, personable nature that made him truly special to all who knew him. His humor and kindness will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.

James will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend-a man whose spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
