John A. McGinnis O’65 died on August 29, 2012 after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. While he was in the ICU, he as able to witness his son’s wedding through Skype.We anticipate more biographical details to be published as the memorial service approaches. We will post any updates when we learn of them. We currently have the following information:A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Sept. 15 at 10AM at Holy Family Parish, 7525 SE Cesar Chavez Bld (corner of SE Flavel and SE 39th Street), Portland, OR 97202.The family is asking in lieu of flowers that a remembrance in John’s name be sent to:Partners in Care,Children’s Bereavement, Hospice Center2075 NE Wyatt Court, Bend, OR 97701.This is the program the McGinnis’ daughter developed that also extends out to the local schools and funds a fee-free art camp in the summer.
