John B. Kane, 79, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at his home.
John was born in St. Louis, MO on May 24, 1943 to the late John Patrick and Margaret (Langton) Kane. He worked as a nursing home administrator, was an avid stamp collector, loved history and fishing and was a Star Neighborhood member.
Surviving John are his wife of 29 years, Vickie (McCallister) Kane; two sisters, Marianne Bartin and Margaret Kane, both of St. Louis, MO; three brothers, Rev. Joe Kane and Laurence (Maureen) Kane, both of St. Louis and Ed (Susan) Kane of Indianapolis and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by an infant son, John Andrew Kane in 1994.
