John D. Kennedy, 83, was born Friday, August 13, 1926, in Columbus, OH, son of the late Daniel and Lessie (Stauss) Kennedy.He served his country in the US Navy.He was a member and past treasurer of the Knights of Columbus, past treasurer of RSVP, lifelong member of St Lawrence Catholic Church, former Dearborn County Councilman, former Lawrenceburg Township trustee, and member of the American Legion, David McAllister Post #239.He worked as a Production Control Supervisor for Fernald.He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; 3 daughters, Debbie Kennedy, Jackie (husband Bruce) Gibson, and Susan (husband Randy) Block; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Kennedy, Brad Gibson, Ian Bock, and Rachel Block.He was preceded in death by his son, Danny, and his sister Rose Ann.Contributions may be made to the St Lawrence Church or St Lawrence School.Information obtained from Fitch-Denney Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, IN. www.fitchdenney.com
