In loving memory of John Joseph Seiler, age 87 of Colwich, KS who passed away on the feast of the Holy Trinity, May 26, 2024. John was born August 23, 1936 in Colwich, KS and was the youngest of 9 children. John was the son of John Seiler and Rosalie Spexarth. He married Patricia Louise Rau on April 30, 1960 and together they raised six children. He was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Parish and volunteered much of his time to his community. He enjoyed family gatherings, card playing gardening, fishing and traveling. He was very active in the Prolife Movement. John was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Carla Marie, siblings Richard Joseph, Cathryn Ana Gruenbacher, James Edward, Paul Francis, Bernard John, and Joseph John. He is survived by children, Fr. Andrew J. of Council Grove, KS, Jerry J. of Garner, KS, Beth Gipson (Kelly) of Yellville, AR, Dennis J. (Therese) of Wichita, KS, Ted G. (Terri) of Colwich, KS and Kelly J. (Danielle) of Paola, KS. John is also survived by sister, Mary Margaret Dold and Rosalie Mannebach (Roman). John is a grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
