John “Jack” Mahoney, 67, of Greenville, husband of Donna Borton Mahoney, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at his residence.Born in Beverly, MA, he was a son of the late John P. and Eileen Bollard Mahoney. Jack was a Purchasing Commodities Manager with Baldor Electric. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of 44 years are two children, Maureen Runey and husband John of Charleston and Michael Mahoney and Jessica of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Shawn and Kayla Runey and Aurora Mahoney; two sisters, Eileen Gallagher and husband Jim and Mary Renner and husband Paul; and two brothers, Dennis and Dan Mahoney. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
