God reached out and took John home on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. John leaves behind his devoted wife of 46 years, Joan.
John is the son of the deceased Paul and Julia Kohn Wersing. He was the youngest of four children: the late Paul Wersing (Gloria) and the late Barbara Pepper (Bob). Left to cherish his memory is his sister Nancy Greenaway (Sam) sister in law Judith Millero(Frank) and brother in law Paul Busang (Jackie). There are many loved cousins and nieces and nephews in his family. He was very active at St. Teresa Church. He served as an usher there for over 40 years worked at many festivals and other church activities. In these last few years he was not able to be as active due to poor health. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker.
