John Kevin McCarrel 51. He was born October 2, 1957 in Beech Grove, IN. He was the son of Gerald McCarrel now of North Port, Florida and Patricia Van Winkle Mills (deceased) of Indianapolis. He was the devoted husband of Pamela (Ott) McCarrel; they recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. He was the loving father of Jordan Kevin McCarrel and Andrea Elizabeth McCarrel. John is survived by his wife and children, brother, Jeff (Wendy) McCarrel of Indianapolis, sisters, Bridget (John) Buchanan of Cincinnati, Cecilia (Nelson) Ford of Evansville, Moira Sommers (Alex Munroe) of Indianapolis, life-long friends Bob Tolbert and Doug Paynter, several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. John was the Vice President of Proportion Air in McCordsville. His job allowed him to travel extensively, and he established deep friendships across the U.S. and abroad.
