Kenneth Eugene “Gene” Borders, 76, passed away August 22, 2019.
He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on September 21, 1942 to the late Charles N. “Chic” and Virginia (Culllen) Borders. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Charlotte (O’Bryan) Borders in 2015; a brother, Donald Borders and brother in law, Bob Key.
Gene had owned and operated William Tell Woodcrafters and Swiss Plywood, Corp.
Surviving are his children, Lenore Donaldson, Charles Borders, Michaeline Chandler, Earl Borders and Elizabeth Conner; sisters, Betty McAndrews, Patrice McCarthy, Sue Heck and Mary Key; brothers, Bill Borders and Mike Borders; companion, Pat Chenault; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
