Kenneth Vincent Reis, age 91, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at his home.Kenny was born February 24, 1923 in Evansville to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Weisman) Reis. He married the love of his life, the former Alvera Klenck, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and together they resided in Evansville. Kenny was the owner of KV Reis Farms and the owner and operator of Reis Tire Company for 66 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Kennel Club, Twin Towers, Knights of Columbus, Moutoux Booster Club, National Tire Retreaders Association, Evansville Junior Football League and at the time of his death was the oldest living member of the Westside Nut Club. Kenny loved playing clabber with his friends every Wednesday until he was no longer able to do so; he enjoyed traveling, working in his yard, playing with his tractors and loved his bulldogs, all named Buster. He always had a positive attitude. Surviving Kenny are four sons, Mark Reis, Bruce (Kim) Reis, Luke (Deb) Reis and Matt (Marge) Reis, all of Evansville; grandsons, Kevin Reis, Nathan Reis, Kirk Reis and Brent Ritter and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Alvera (Klenck) Reis in April of 2014; by a sister, Juanita Kern and by two brothers, Joseph and Milton Reis.
