He died at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a lifetime member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He graduated from Cathedral grade school, Central Catholic High School, Fort Wayne; obtained a Bachelor’s degree from St. Meinrad’s Seminary, St. Meinard and Master’s degree from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He began his teaching career at Central Catholic High School, in 1961, becoming an original board member of Catholic Lay Teachers for the Fort Wayne-South Bend diocese. He joined East Allen County School Systems, in 1963, where he taught English at Village Junior High School until his retirement in 1990. He is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Edward P. and Patricia A. Moulin of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Joseph C. Wies of Fort Wayne; five nieces; and three nephews. “Remember him as you knew him in life, not as he lay in death.
