Lawrence “Larry’ Orth, 72, passed away, Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Columbia Health Care in Evansville, IN.He was born March 22, 1941, in Evansville, to the late Dorothy “Chris” (Heavrin) and Leroy Orth.Larry was a school teacher for 32 years. He taught at Rex Mundi, North and Reitz High School. Larry found his job rewarding and was very proud of his students and their accomplishments. Larry has 5 Master degrees in German, English, Music, School Administrator and Counseling.Larry was of the Catholic Faith and for many years he played the organ for St. Benedict Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Dorothy (Chris) Heavrin Orth.Larry is survived by many aunts and cousins.The family would like to extend many thanks to Columbia Health Care and Deaconess Hospice.Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Alexander North Chapel officiated by Fr.
