A Bardstown resident, Mr. Joseph Eugene “Joe” Carrico age 80 passed away on May 20, 2021 at his daughter’s residence.

He was born June 23, 1940 to the late Mr. Joseph Elmer and Roberta Mudd Carrico, in Springfield Ky. Joe was a former businessman, a catholic priest, former CCD and RCIA instructor at St. Gregory and St. Joseph Church’s, He was a member of St. Joseph Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1290 of Bardstown.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Virginia Tobin Carrico, His mother-in-law Mary Tobin, Step father Wallace McIntyre, brother Allen Carrico, sisters-in-law Margaret Janes Carrico, Jerri Carrico, Ann Goff, brothers-in-law Gary Goff and, Joe Goff Joe is survived by 3 daughters, Allison (Brian) Clements of Bardstown, Lisa (Gary) Dunlap of Cox’s Creek, Kelley (Chad) Welch of Bardstown, 2 sisters Elmerita (Donnie) Carrico-Hall, and Sue Blair both of Springfield, 7 brothers Leroy, Ken (Flo), and Sam (Marilyn) Carrico of Louisville, Bob (Linda) Carrico of Harrodsburg, Jim “Fletcher”(Frances) McIntyre of Springfield and Don McIntyre of Georgetown and a sister-in-law, Mary Goff of Cox’s Creek.

He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Luke and Virginia Clements and, Clayton Eliza and, Hudson Welch.
