Msgr. Oliver, a retired priest, died at Yuma Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 8, 1925 in Milton, MA to Guy and Agnes Oliver.He was a long time resident of Yuma and spent his entire time providing charitable services and assistance to his friends and his community.He graduated from Saints Johns Prep in Danvers, MA and was ordained at Saint Meinrad Seminary, IN in 1952.He lived a simple life and cared for many. He cherished his time with his neighboring brother, Gerard, and was loved by his sister-in-law, Bernadette and their two sons.John’s siblings include his sister, Mary Brennan; brother- in -law, Paul Brennan; brothers, Thomas Oliver, Bernard Oliver, Paul Oliver, Gerard Oliver; sister Dorothy Lagrottia and sister-in-law Bernadatte Oliver of Riverside, California.John was devoted and will be missed by his family, many nieces and nephews as well as his home town of Yuma.In lieu of flowers please make donations to Crossroads Mission of Yuma.Information obtained from Yuma Sun online, www.yumasun.com/obituaries
